A Family Favorite!

Ingredients:

1 Tbs Olive Oil

1 lb. Lean Ground Turkey

1 medium onion, chopped

2 Tbs Chili Powder

1 tsp Cumin

½ tsp Black Pepper

1 Cup Chunky Salsa- Pick your own spice level

1 15 oz can whole kernel corn, drained

1 15 oz can black beans, rinsed & drained

1 ¾ Cups Chicken Broth (approximate)

Directions:

1. Heat oil in a 4 qt. saucepan. Saute turkey and onion together over medium-high heat until turkey is well browned, stirring frequently to break up meat. Drain and return to saucepan.

2. Stir chili powder, pepper and cumin into the salsa. Stir this mixture into the meat mixture. Stir in corn and beans, along with 1 ¼ cup of the broth. Add more broth if you like a thinner chili. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

Mixture should keep for at least a week in the refrigerator.

Ingredients:

12 cocktail- or plum tomatoes

1 banana

Juice from 1 orange

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 tbsp applecider vinegar

10 whole cloves

Salt

Directions:

Coarsely chop tomatoes and banana, bring to boil in a pot, and cook at low heat. Remember to stir so it doesn’t burn.

Roast cloves on a dry pan, then pound in a mortar (or use a coffee grinder) and add to the pot.

Let it all cool down at least to where you can keep a finger in it without any discomfort. Then add oil and vinegar. Season to taste with salt and, if you want, pepper.

(optional) You can blend it to make it more smooth and even.

Its really good, I actually had it as cereal this morning. Just threw it in some milk. You could easily add some protein to it to beef it up a bit.

Ingredients:

4 cups oats

2/3 cups Natural PB

2/3 cups honey

1 cup raisins

1/2 cup dried figs, cherries, whatever

1 cup nuts (I used peanuts because thats all I had but I think cashews or almonds would have been better)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
1.	HEAT oven to 300ºF. Combine peanut butter, honey and cinnamon in small saucepan; heat through. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
2.	PLACE oats in a large, shallow roasting pan or a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Pour warm peanut butter mixture over oats and stir gently until oats are coated. Spread evenly in pan.
3.	BAKE 35 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. TURN OFF OVEN.
4.	While granola is baking: PLACE raisins in small bowl; cover with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes; drain well.
5.	REMOVE pan from oven. Stir raisins, nuts and figs into baked mixture. Return to oven and let dry 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Store in covered containers.

its good a lot of good stuff in there and it tastes great.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup quinoa

1 cup water

3/4 cup frozen wild blueberries (or fresh, but its hard to find fresh wild blueberries in most places and the big regular ones taste like shit, imo)

1 sliced banana

3 T shelled hemp seeds

Directions:

add quinoa and 1 cup water to a pot and cook according to directions (usually bring to boil, reduce to simmer, cover and cook for ~10-15 minutes or until fluffy looking). when the quinoa is just about done, add frozen wild blueberries and banana. stir around and cook until its all hot (the blueberries will cool it down at first), then stir in shelled hemp seeds.
